The Class of 2023 is raising funds for tuition waivers! LUC students pay a higher tuition fee because of the small-scale intensive educational environment. Many students struggle to afford this. The Class of 2023 would like to help as many students as possible to join LUC regardless of their financial situation. Will you help them?

Make a difference in the college experience of current and future LUC students!

Leiden University College is characterized by a strong community of staff and students. Our alumni strongly appreciate the experience they had at LUC and value the foundation LUC gave them for their future academic and professional careers. Graduation is the perfect occasion to celebrate this and give back to the college community. It is also the perfect start for alumni to stay engaged and involved.

Graduation Gift
Each graduating class chooses a fundraising goal. This can be anything and of any size, as long as it contributes to the generations of students to come. In this way, alumni can give others the chances they had themselves, and stay involved with our community.

Each class can make their own fundraiser. The graduating class invites their family and friends to make a one-off donation via their own action page. The results of the fundraiser will be celebrated during the Graduation ceremony.

Thank you! 28-09-2023 | 15:37 Amazing! The Class of 2023 raised a total of 944 Euro (919 Euro on the action page and an additional 25 Euro on the main crowdfunding page)! We are very grateful and proud of this wonderful result. Together as a class you are enabling current students to continue their education with us, despite financial difficulties. Thank you all for your generous contributions. We will continue this initiative in the coming year with the Senior Class Gift for the Class of 2024.

The Class has graduated 12-07-2023 | 14:20 On 7 July, LUC's Class of 2023 graduated during a wonderful and personal ceremony at the Circustheater. We celebrated their achievements and the many bonds they created as a community over the past years. This cohort arrived in 2020 at the height of the corona crisis and has now succesfully embarked on their next step. Congratulations to all! The Senior Class Gift fundraiser was officially introduced during the ceremony by Dean prof. dr. Giles Scott-Smith. We're happy to see that people are contributing to the goal of providing more financial support to current and future LUC students, with the current amount raised at 530 Euro. We thank all donors for their generosity and commitment to LUC; your contribution is much valued and will directly support another student. The action will remain open during the summer, and we will update you again on the final result in September. LUC
